Shallotte native named president of NCCU alumni association

Shallotte native Tania Butler Davis has been named to her second term as national president of the N.C. Central University Alumni Association.

Davis?represents more than 33,000 alumni.? Her second term began July 1 and will end on June 30, 2014.

Davis graduated from NCCU in 1994 and is a a 1990 graduate of West Brunswick High School.

Davis also recently co-received the Legacy of Leaders National Alumni President of the Year Award given by the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation.
